Welcome to the "Storm" Explorer Group
(formaly know as "Home Grown")

Our original name came from the fact that our group started at the Home of the 8th High Wycombe Scout group giving us a possible 5 members. Even before we had our first meeting on Friday 9th Sep 05, we had Grown to 10 members, following on from a Scout trip to Switzerland where we met up with the 3rd Downley. After having this name for two and a half year, it was felt that we would all like a change and decided on the name STORM and the change was made on the 1st Jan 2008.

Run by Graham (Bulldog) with assistance from leaders from the 8th High Wycombe Scout Group, we have a lot of ideas and activities in store I am sure that I can speak for us all when I say that we are all looking forward to the challenges ahead.
